Jacksons/Destiny World Tour Compilation 1979 Blu-Ray Version

“Destiny”, released in December 1978, is now available on Blu-ray, which includes footage from that tour in chronological order. Started on January 22, 1979 in Bremen, West Germany. The group toured across two continents, Europe and North America, and then embarked on a tour of around 80 cities in the United States. After their performance at the Greensboro Coliseum on June 10, 1979, the Jacksons took a four-month hiatus from touring. This was so Michael Jackson could complete work on his solo album, Off the Wall, which would be released just two months later. After Off the Wall was released and became a hit, the Jacksons began performing in arenas and large halls, changing the nature of their shows. Additional songs were added to the setlist, specifically incorporating songs from Michael’s new album. On November 15, 1979, Michael developed a kidney infection. As a result, performances from Fort Worth to Greenville from November 15th to 21st have been canceled. Some performances in December were also canceled as it was unclear when Michael would recover. These were scheduled to be transferred in 1980, but in the end they were all cancelled. The tour will conclude in Honolulu on January 13, 1980. As for the contents of the Blu-ray, the first one is the London performance on February 23, 1979. It’s no exaggeration to say that this is the best of Destiny Tour, and you can enjoy a super amazing Blu-ray HD with perfect video quality and sound quality. The first song is Dancing Machine, and young Michael’s dancing skills are incredible. In addition to performances of songs unique to this tour such as Keep On Danceing, Enjoy Yourself, and Destiny, everyone will be captivated by the elegance of the masterpiece Medium Dancer Show You The Way To Go. The youthful disco of All Night Dancin’ and the finale with Dankla Blame It On The Boogie. This is a miraculous live performance that can only be experienced here, when the Jacksons and Michael Jackson will make a sensational appearance in the world of music fans. From here on, the quality of the video drops, but valuable tour footage and interviews are recorded in chronological order. The Memphis performance on May 20th has an interesting angle, but the sound is blurry and cracking. This is a video that has documentary value only. June 9th, Landover is a TV commercial announcing the live performance. On October 19th, there will be a short interview with Michael, and the rest will be fragmentary footage, with some parts where the video and audio will disappear. This is a video that has documentary value only. November 8th in Uniondale. This is a mini-documentary that includes live performances and an interview with Michael. The video is relatively good, and each song is short, but songs from “Off The Wall” released in 1979, such as Rock With You and Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough, appear on the Destiny tour.
