This 2-hour and 28-minute recording captures the opening night of the “Fifty Something Tour” in San Antonio on September 23rd, commemorating the band’s 50th anniversary in 2026, using the latest digital equipment for high-quality audience shots. The camerawork makes extensive use of zooms, capturing every member in close-up, allowing viewers to clearly see the intricate playing and movements. The tour is now past the halfway point, and the performance is in top form throughout. In this tour, the band has scheduled 2 to 4 consecutive shows in the same venue in major cities, with the setlist changing daily. This particular show was the first of two consecutive shows, so the setlist was different from the second day, with the full performance of the epic song “2112” being the biggest highlight. Furthermore, the show included a rotating selection of songs such as “Distant Early Warning” and “Witch Hunt,” as well as representative hits from the 70s, tributes to Neil Peart that adorned the show throughout, and everything from the opening skit to “Working Man.” Here, we capture the entirety of the night in a collection of close-up shots.
