This release captures the September 6, 1980, concert at Madison Square Garden in New York—part of the North American tour supporting the *Drama* album (featuring new members Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes)—sourced from a stereo soundboard recording derived from an FM broadcast master. While this recording has long been known to fans—with excerpts previously included on the official live anthology *The Word Is Live*—it has circulated in various forms over the years. For this release, overseas fans have compiled the best available masters, correcting the speed and pitch of individual tracks, balancing the stereo image, and adjusting the varying sonic textures of the source material on a song-by-song basis; the tracks have also been seamlessly edited to flow continuously without gaps, resulting in the highest quality and most complete version of the performance to date. The setlist—which includes four songs from *Drama*—polarized fans at the time but has since garnered significant critical re-evaluation. Aside from the omission of a few tracks like “Does It Really Happen?”, this release faithfully recreates the concert experience and includes a bonus track: the rare studio recording of “We Can Fly From Here.” It is an essential listen for fans.
