This release offers a rich experience of TTB’s unique sound, a fusion of blues, Southern rock, soul, gospel, and jam band elements, along with Derek Trucks’ slide guitar and Susan Tedeschi’s powerful vocals and guitar. Below are the details of each disc. Disc 1 As they continue their energetic live performances in 2025, marking their 15th anniversary, this 3-hour and 7-minute full recording captures their May 24th performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York from their spring North American tour, using official quality, pro-shot video from the webcast on-air master. The setlist, which was significantly changed each night, as surprised fans at their Japan performances two years prior, is also present here, as it is a series of performances at a theater familiar to them. On this day, they performed a diverse range of numbers, including covers, in a two-part show. Incidentally, the covers performed that day included Dylan numbers, blues covers by Sleepy John Estes and others, jazz numbers by Roland Kirk and Bessie Smith, and of course, Derek and the Dominos, as well as the noteworthy Beatles song “When I’m Sixty-Four.” Furthermore, this performance marked the world premiere of this song in a live setting, making it a must-see item for fans. On this day, they performed a diverse range of numbers, including covers, in a two-part show. Incidentally, they also performed at the same theater the following day, and the footage from that performance was also broadcast via webcast and has been distributed before, but only two songs, “Let Me Get By” and “Soul Sweet Song,” are the same as the next day. All the covers were changed, and on this day they also performed new songs such as “Crazy Cryin'” and “Who Am I,” which have only been performed a few times before. Just as fans were amazed by the diverse setlists at their Japanese concerts two years ago, the sets for these consecutive nights’ performances are completely different, making this collector’s edition a must-have for fans.
