Description
A 4-DVD collection of selected live performances from Tedeschi Trucks Band’s 2015 North American tour, during their most fulfilling period! Centered around Derek Trucks’ overwhelming slide guitar and Susan Tedeschi’s soulful vocals and guitar, this is a content where you can fully enjoy the charm of a huge ensemble that fuses blues, southern rock, soul, gospel, and jazz. The main feature, the first half of DISC 1 and 2, includes the “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” special stage held at Lockn’ Festival in Virginia from September 11 to 12, 2015. This extravagant event celebrates Joe Cocker’s historic project, featuring Tedeschi Trucks Band, Leon Russell, Doyle Bramhall II, Dave Mason, Rita Coolidge, Chris Robinson, John Bell, Claudia Lennear, Warren Haynes, Anders Osborne, Sonny Ortiz, and many other guests. In particular, the point of this work is that it not only includes the usual live collection, but also the “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” reproduction project + Wheels Of Soul Tour + each performance in early 2015. This is a large-volume 4-disc set that condenses 2015’s activities into about 8 hours, from co-stars with luxurious guests to performances full of the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s original scale. Below are the details of each disc. DISC 1 Mad Dogs & Englishmen Vol.1 While actively performing live in various places in 2015, this is a complete recording of their performance at “Lockn’ Festival”, which was held in Arlington, Virginia over two days on September 11th and 12th, and where they performed last year as well.
