Description
This recording features a live performance from Ann Arbor on October 10th, from the tour following the release of Talking Heads’ second album, ‘More Songs About Buildings and Food’. This is the first-ever soundboard recording, and while it lacks breadth in the soundstage, the sound quality is quite good. The recording has been carefully edited to remove hiss and adjust the balance. Held the year before their Japan tour, which was touted as “changing your future!”, this is a must-listen from Talking Heads’ very early days, showcasing their tight, sharp, and punk-influenced playing.
