This release features a soundboard recording of a live performance at Club Zebra in Kristinehamn, Sweden on July 19, 1977. The second half consists of the soundcheck from that day. In February 2024, the double LP analog bootleg “LOOKING FOR A KISS IN KRISTINEHAMN,” of which only 300 copies were released, is now being traded at premium prices overseas and is extremely difficult to obtain. However, this release is a brushed-up edition with all of its content digitally transferred, the significantly off-key pitch corrected, and remastered! The analog versions of this recording that can be found scattered around the internet, including the two Norwegian tracks, interviews, and Swedish radio advertisements, are all digitized with off-key pitches, but this is the only version that has been carefully digitized with corrected pitches! This release features a high-quality stereo soundboard recording of a live performance and rehearsal held at Club Zebra in Kristinehamn, Sweden on July 19, 1977. This is the first time this recording has been released! This is a rough mix straight from the mixing board, but the sound quality is incredibly clear. There are some parts where the guitar volume is unstable, but that roughness actually amplifies the raw, authentic feel. The master version is missing the ending of “God Save The Queen,” but here it has been edited in with the same song from the Norwegian performance.
