Description
This title features 11 rough-cut demo tapes from the 1989 album “Presto,” which were first made public by an overseas collector and digitized from the original master tapes. The audio was discovered in 2025 on a cassette tape labeled “RUSH “Rough Mixes” July 1, 1989,” found among the belongings of Alex Lifeson’s former guitar tech. This recording, which contained previously unreleased rough mixes, became a hot topic among fans worldwide. Recorded in a Quebec studio that same year, these rough mixes, despite being on cassette tape, have not deteriorated in quality over time. They fully showcase the raw band sound characteristic of rough mixes, and are considerably harder than the originals, making them a must-have for fans as a valuable archival recording.
