Public Image Limited/Brazil 04.08.2026 Complete

Live Complete took place on April 8, 2026, at the Cine Gioia in São Paulo, Brazil. This was the first tour with John Lennon and his new drummer, Mark Roberts, a longtime friend of Lou Edmunds and someone John himself highly praises, replacing Bruce Smith. The setlist was a comprehensive overview of their work to date, including “World Destruction,” a 1984 release produced by Bill Laswell in collaboration with Afrika Bambaataa, as well as early numbers like “Death Disco” and “Flowers Of Romance.” The final medley of “Annalisa/Attack/Chant” was particularly powerful! John also mentioned recording a new album with Mark, and as the tour title suggests, this superb performance clearly showed their ambition for the future!
