This release features an AI-remastered version of the soundboard recording from Prince’s “21 Nights Stand” residency—specifically the concert from April 22nd. The AI ​​remastering process involved removing crowd noise and applause (which means, for instance, that Prince’s calls for hand-clapping may not be audible). However, because the editing was sometimes drastic—occasionally cutting out spoken interludes—the original master recordings were retained for certain tracks: duets, select covers, songs not featuring Prince on vocals, and instrumental pieces. The AI-remastered versions were used only where the editing required was relatively minor. Additionally, the disc includes bonus tracks: “Cool” (from April 22nd), as well as “Musicology,” “Prince & The Band,” and “Instrumental Jam” (from April 30th)—all of which underwent AI remastering but were excluded from the main sequence due to the aforementioned editing issues.
