Prince and the New Power Generation (Prince/CA, USA 2004 AI Remastered Edition)

This is a recording of a show at the Fillmore that took place before the start of the Musicology Tour. There were two shows, one on the morning of February 15th and another on the morning of February 16th, 2004. It’s a fantastic audience recording. This time, we’ve used AI remastering on the morning February 15th recording to remove as much of the crowd noise as possible. The sound of individual instruments has also been separated, resulting in such a transformation that you might mistake it for a soundboard recording. However, a 7-second section of Prince playing the opening guitar riff of the song “Kiss” during Musicology was missing. This section has now been added from the existing master. Also, “Make Me Whole” and “Sweet Thing” were not AI remastered, so the original master recordings are used for those two songs as well.
