The June 4th St. Paul concert from the 1976 “Over America Tour,” previously known as a rare 8mm video, has been released on DVD in a state-of-the-art upgraded version. This footage was originally filmed by a fan from the front row using an 8mm video camera, and its impact, including close-ups, is of astonishing quality. This new title features a 4K scan of that master footage, newly imported and edited, allowing viewers to see even the finest details. It also captures moments such as staff members bringing chairs from the wings as an acoustic song begins, and the audio has been meticulously synchronized with an audience source from the same day, resulting in a highly polished production. As a bonus, 8mm footage from the first night of the Cow Palace concert 10 days later has also been added. Although it is less than 10 minutes long and filmed from a distance, the 4K scan has also resulted in sharp image quality, making it a valuable historical document worth watching for fans, totaling 37 minutes. 1.
