This is a live recording of Pat Metheny’s trio from 1986, featuring the unusual combination of bassist Mirosolaf Vitous. It includes recordings from both the early and late shows at a historic jazz club in Cambridge. The setlists are not overlapping, which is a welcome coupling. Recorded by TapeTyrant, the sound quality is clear and easy to listen to, although the bass is slightly under-balanced. Nevertheless, it is a superb recording that clearly captures the playing of Metheny and Haynes.
