Olivia Newton-John / Early Years Singles and Rarities

This 2CD anthology compiles rare recordings, including unreleased tracks and promotional singles from the 1960s through to the peak of the 1970s. This title features rare recordings from 1966 to 1980, the starting point of Olivia Newton-John’s career, presented chronologically. All tracks, including previously unreleased material and currently hard-to-find recordings, are compiled in master quality. It begins with the first stereo mix of her 1966 debut solo single, followed by unreleased acetate recordings from her 1967 Australian partner Pat Carroll, the only stereo single mix from the band Tomorrow (who appeared in a film), and German and French versions of hit singles. Many of the rare single-only mixes and promotional-only mono recordings are being released on CD for the first time. Furthermore, the soundtrack to the 1975 film “Richard’s Window” and the 1979 UNICEF concert are being released on CD for the first time from their currently out-of-print analog versions. In addition, collaborations with John Denver, John Travolta, and Andy Gibb are included, each from promotional recordings that are currently difficult to obtain. Moreover, all of the recordings have been updated with the latest 2026 remasters, and the difference is immediately apparent when compared to the previous versions, making this a must-have collector’s item for fans.
