Motley Crue/CA,USA 09.17.1983

This 39-minute recording captures their performance at the KGB-FM 101 Sky Show VIII festival in San Diego on September 17th, during their North American tour just before the release of their breakout album, ‘Shout at the Devil’ in 1983. The recording is from a remarkably good audience master recording for its time. This live performance followed their legendary appearance at the US Festival in May of that year, where they made a powerful impact as a representative band of LA metal. The setlist, consisting of four songs each from their first album and their unreleased second album, is unique to this period and includes many tracks that would never be performed live again, making it a must-see for fans.
