While unofficial recordings of the 1981 Japan tour are known to exist for the Tokyo shows (Oct 3, 4, and 6) and the Fukuoka Sunpalace show (Oct 11)—with the Nagoya show from Oct 9 having gone out of print—the Osaka performance remained unreleased for some reason, prompting calls from enthusiasts for its release. Now, those wishes have been granted with the release of this title, sourced from a master recording that captures a powerful, clear sound image despite being an audience recording. The customer who provided the tape recalls that it was a chilly day with light rain. As for the performance itself, it is evident that Miles was in better health than he had been during the Shinjuku West Exit show.
