Description
This is a CD that uses as a master tape a soundboard sound source that is said to be a phantom recording of the second day of a secret gig that was suddenly held in New York in 1981 just before the world tour with Camback Band. You will be amazed by the very clear sound image of Miles’ trumpet, Mike Stern’s edgy guitar playing, Bill Evans’ saxophone, and his electric piano. You can listen to all songs on the product site. The sound source is from over 40 years ago, so it is not a complete recording, and unfortunately the beginning and end of the live performance are not recorded, but even if you take that into account, you can spend an hour and 25 minutes dream-like time with the amazing master sound source. In the past, CDs with terrible sound quality that were unbearable to listen to were released, but with the release of the actual CD, you can get rid of them.
