This 2CD set is the second in a series of alternate collections for the album “Dangerous,” released four years after “BAD.” It features previously unreleased tracks and rare recordings recently discovered, all newly remastered in 2026. This second installment includes numerous rare recordings, including tracks not included on the original “Outrageous Dangerous” album. Disc 1, “Rare and Unreleased Tracks,” contains singles and unreleased recordings not included on the album. These include “Mind Is the Magic,” recorded in 1989 and released as a limited soundtrack, the single “Why” featuring the boy group 3T, and a single featuring Eddie Murphy. Many of the other tracks are rare, officially unreleased recordings, and some valuable tracks whose existence has only recently become known are included in their entirety, not just as fragments. Furthermore, Disc 2, titled “Demo and Unreleased Tracks,” contains even rarer demo recordings, including recently released leaked material. All tracks are of the highest quality, and the compilation features upgraded, non-fragmented audio—a noteworthy aspect.
