As the second installment of live archives documenting the 1985 “Virgin Tour,” this 2CD set features full recordings of each US performance in stereo soundboard format, along with related recordings, all newly edited for 2026. This title is the second anthology of the “Virgin Tour,” Madonna’s first concert tour following her breakout success with “Like a Virgin,” and includes full recordings of the May 10th Florida, Orlando performance and the May 29th Philadelphia performance, all in stereo soundboard format. While the Detroit performance from this tour was later released as a video, it was an edited version with three songs missing, and the full version is currently virtually unavailable officially. Moreover, these live archives feature high-quality stereo soundboard recordings, unlike most previous recordings which were incomplete or degraded mono recordings, as these are the best quality recordings restored in 2026 from low-generation masters. The live setlist includes hits from their first two albums, as well as tracks from the movie “Vision Quest,” such as “Crazy for You” and “Gambler,” many of which are no longer included in their setlists, making it truly representative of that era. The Orlando performance is recorded from a newly leaked, complete stereo soundboard master, and the Philadelphia performance, which took place after the Detroit performance that was filmed, is worth checking out as the stage management and performance are tighter compared to the earlier part of the tour. In addition, bonus tracks such as soundcheck and tour rehearsal recordings are included after each performance, making this limited collector’s edition a must-have for all fans, along with items scheduled for future release.
