This compilation features digitized, rare color 16mm film footage from the 1975 North American tour, primarily focusing on the February 7th Madison Square Garden performance in New York, totaling 1 hour and 34 minutes. The main MSG performance was filmed by NBC at the time, and while it’s not exactly professional footage, being a one-camera documentary for the news program “NBC Newsreel,” the raw, unedited 16mm film footage, complete with a time counter, captures fragments of the live performance with incredible clarity, far superior in quality to the 8mm film prevalent at the time. However, despite being valuable newly discovered 16mm film, the total running time is only about 21 minutes, so footage from the February 6th Canada, Montreal, and February 10th Landbar performances has been added in color 8mm film format. The footage from the 6th, in particular, was unearthed from the video collection of a professional cameraman named Jim Kelly. Although it’s fragmented footage for 8mm, which is known for its short shooting times, it’s a lengthy 50 minutes in total, and it also captures the entire stage well in the Lundbar performance.
