In 1969, the Keith Richards Trio’s European tour initially featured Charlie Haden and Paul Motian, but from August 18th at the Fox Inn in Ireland, the lineup changed, with Gus Nemeth on bass and Bob Ventrelo on drums, and they swept across Europe. The Lugano, Switzerland performance released here was the final live performance by this trio, and after this day, live performances by these three were never recorded again. In that sense, this final performance is undoubtedly an invaluable recording for fans. Moreover, it has been restored by overseas enthusiasts and noise-cleaned to an impeccable level.
