I obtained the original 720P mp4 file of Prince’s Piano & A Microphone Tour, which was a compilation of audience footage, and converted it into a DVD. First up is the Toronto performance. The last performance of the live performance is recorded at the beginning, and it ends with “Purple Rain”, but it is a very moving closing that cleverly incorporates “The Beautiful Ones” and “Somewhere Here On Earthy”. And it’s an excellent video that captures the stage and Prince fixedly, so it’s irresistible. Melbourne performance. “Little Red Corvette” is a very freaky performance, changing the tempo and singing style, experimenting with the beginning of the song, and adding improvisation. This is also a wonderful video of Prince and the stage. Melbourne performance. The freaky piano of “Purple Music” and the thrilling flow into “Free Urself” thrill the audience. The camera shakes a bit, but it is a moving shot that shows Prince, the stage, and the screen on the stage. Video of the last part of “Purple Rain” from the Melbourne performance. And the Atlanta performance. A shot that clearly captures Prince through a gap in the audience. The song begins with “I Feel For You,” which is cheerfully expressed using just the piano, and then progresses thrillingly into “Controversy,” gradually increasing the groove, and ending abruptly at the boiling point. The beautiful “The Most Beautiful Girl In The World” is sung firmly on the piano and is moving. “I Would Die 4 U” is a wonderful performance, but I can’t see Prince because of the woman standing up, so I give up filming around the beginning of “Baby I’m A Star”. The Auckland performance included Prince’s close-up on the screen. The spectacular performance of “The Beautiful Ones” will keep you watching until the end. Atlanta performance again. A full-fledged piano performance of “A Case Of U” with “Under The Cherry Moon” as the intro. My lachrymal glands are tingling. They are doing their best to show Prince somehow. And a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes.” Ah, I can’t stop crying now. First, Prince changed the lyrics. He changed the lyrics from “I’m the king and you are the queen, we can be heroes, just for one day,” to “You and I will win, we can be heroes as many times as we like,” and at the end, he said, “Stand up in your faith, this is the sound for heroes like me and you guys,” and they finish their performance and leave the stage with a bang. Melbourne performance again. “Sometimes It Snows In April” is a wonderful arrangement that is a mashup of “Purple Rain.” And the flow from the mysterious intro of “Melbourne” to “Big City” that makes you think that Melbourne is a big city is full of charm that draws you in. Then, before I knew it, a honky performance of “Ruff Enuff” started. This is groovy and the best. and the Atlanta Late Show. Partial images are quite close. And when you notice it from “Diamonds & Pearls”, this famous video that becomes the performance of “Purple Rain” can be said to be a treasure of the world that captures Prince up close. There are some parts along the way that the camera cannot capture, but it is still a treasure of the world. Actually, it goes back to “Diamonds & Pearls” and then switches to “Purple Rain” again, a mashup version. Prince feels weak, thinking he has given it his all, but he stands firm, raises his cane, and responds to the audience, at which point the video cuts out.
