Description
This release captures the November 12, 1976, concert in San Antonio, Texas—part of the North American tour supporting the album *No Reason to Cry*—in master-quality stereo soundboard audio spanning 93 minutes. While several shows from this tour were originally broadcast on the US radio program *KBFH*, this specific performance remained unaired; the recording eventually surfaced via a leak from someone associated with the tour. Although the source material has been known to collectors for some time, this release features a direct digital transfer from the original cassette master, offering a vastly improved listening experience compared to previous versions (despite minor cuts at the opening and after the encore). The setlist includes four tracks from *No Reason to Cry* and features numerous songs that have since dropped out of his live repertoire—such as “Little Queenie” (performed for the first time since the 1974 comeback tour) and an electric version of “Our Past Times” (often played acoustically). It also highlights special guest appearances, with Yvonne Elliman featured on “Love Me Please” and Marcy Levy on “One Night,” perfectly capturing the unique spirit of this era’s live shows in top-tier audio quality.
