Description
The 1991 London Royal Albert Hall performance, already known as the legendary 24-night series “24 Nights,” featured four different band configurations. This recording captures the final performance by the four-piece band on February 11th, almost in its entirety, from a high-quality DAT master recently unearthed, totaling 2 hours and 11 minutes. As the sixth and final night for the four-piece band, the performance is perfect and magnificent, with six tracks from the then-released “Journeyman”—”Pretending,” “No Alibis,” “Running On Faith,” “Bad Love,” “Before You Accuse Me,” and “Old Love”—being particularly electrifying and a must-listen. Because it’s a four-piece band, Clapton’s guitar is fully featured, and this is undoubtedly a peak moment in his career as a guitar player, captured in the best quality.
