This release features live performances from across North America, recorded to promote the album “Paper Gods,” released in September 2015. The August 2nd performance in Port Chester, New York, is fully captured using a soundboard recording leaked by someone involved at the time. This soundboard recording, directly connected to the mixing console and recently released by staff from that era, lacks some of the live atmosphere, but because it is completely unprocessed and unedited, Simon’s vocals, as well as the guitar and drums, sound authentic and raw, and the band’s ensemble comes across directly.
