This recording fully captures the legendary charity concert held on May 7, 2008, at Redbank, New Jersey, during the band’s US tour, using audio recently released by the owner from an intercepted recording of in-ear monitors. First, this recording comes from the master recording of the IEMs used by the band boss, intercepted at the venue that day. While there are almost no mix balance issues, which are common with IEM interceptions, the counts and clicks are still present, and the sound is very much like the raw instrumental performance, with the instruments and vocals alone being at stereo soundboard level. Furthermore, this special live performance, held in between the “Magic Tour,” was an ultra-limited premium performance, and unlike regular tour concerts, it is remembered as a miraculous night in which the band completely recreated the two greatest 70s albums, “Darkness on the Streets” and “Born to Run.” In addition, as it was a charity event, guests such as Nils Lofgren also joined in, and the passionate performance from beginning to end is captured here in soundboard quality.
