Listening to the latest recordings from Glasgow, which released two days’ worth of material at once, I’m delighted to see that the era of fixed setlists up until around 2023 is over, and that the setlists have shifted to a pattern of changing with each tour throughout the year. It’s surprising how the European setlists in autumn 2025, compared to the American setlists in spring and summer, have been completely restructured, almost like a revival of the 2024 setlist. Regardless, the setlists, which are completely different from other periods in 2025, are a major attraction, and it’s gratifying to see Dylan himself still demonstrate his enthusiasm for live performances. What’s more, the ultra-clear sound of the ALD recordings is even more impressive. While the current ALD recordings are subject to instability due to the Wi-Fi environment, while the sound leakage wasn’t as severe as the previous day, there were occasional small sound leaks from the opening on this day. However, these were very faint, and should become less noticeable as you listen. Above all, the sound quality was exceptionally clear on this day, and the ease of listening was so impressive that it almost made you think, “Is this a leaked soundboard?” It’s amazing how we live in such an amazing time, enjoying the recently concluded European fall tour with such high-quality sound. Still, no enthusiast would be surprised by this shocking soundboard-like recording. Dylan was already in such high spirits the day before, but on the second day, he was even more energetic, which is surprising. At 84, he’s still performing consecutive shows with ease, and even more excited on the second day. Thanks to the ALD recording, Dylan’s energetic presence is captured with unparalleled clarity. Dylan seemed genuinely enjoying himself, laughing between songs and engaging with his bandmates, capturing his lively presence onstage, another unique quality of ALD recording. And on this day, Dylan’s aggressive mode was prominent in “My Own Version of You,” clearly showing his enjoyment in playing this revived song. This is an astonishing recording, capturing Dylan singing with such energy and joy that it’s almost laughable to listen to. Listening to the band’s lively performance, you’ll forget about the slight instability of the ALD recording. It captures Dylan, who is still performing onstage, with the best sound quality!
