Description

A new masterpiece has emerged from the renowned recording studio “KK Collection”! The final installment of the Swedish trilogy of the “BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO Tour” has arrived. This recording captures the “Gothenburg performance on March 26, 1988,” in superb audience quality. The “BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO Tour” is still fresh in our memories, with the masterpieces “MALMO 1988” and “STOCKHOLM 1988” gaining immense popularity, and this is the third installment in the same recording studio’s collection. However, these weren’t three consecutive performances. To explain the situation, let’s first take a look at the overview of their activities at the time. 《February 1st: “BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO” released》・February 1st-22nd: Australia (14 shows) ← *SHOOK THE NIGHTS・March 7th-13th: UK (6 shows) ← *FEEL THE HEAT・March 15th-April 13th: Europe (21 shows) ← ★HERE★《Malcolm Young leaves → Stevie Young joins》・May 3rd-June 25th: North America #1 (45 shows)・July 20th-September 11th: North America #2 (46 shows)・October 4th-November 13th: North America #3 (28 shows) ← *BURNING UP THE TOWN《Malcolm returns / Simon Wright leaves》The final installment of the three sisters’ work by the renowned recording engineer. This is AC/DC in 1988. The “BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO Tour” is also famous for the fact that Malcolm Young couldn’t endure the tour midway through, and Stevie Young stepped in as a last-minute replacement. The “European” leg took place just before that change of heart occurred. The masterful “KK” was a recording engineer who was active in Scandinavia in the late 80s, and this three-sister album is his AC/DC edition. Let’s take a closer look at the dates. Details of the “European” leg: March 15th-18th (3 shows) *March 19th ‘MALMO 1988’ March 21st: Norway show March 22nd: Finland show *March 25th ‘STOCKHOLM 1988′ *March 26th: Gothenburg show ←★This album★ March 28th-April 13th (13 shows)…and so on. The “European” leg of the tour consisted of five performances from March 19th to 26th, with three shows in Sweden, interspersed with two others. While these three sister albums may appear scattered at first glance, they are actually a trilogy that completes the “Sweden” section. The three sisters all boast a rich and dynamistic sound. This youngest of the three sisters delivers a rich and dynamistic sound. Like its predecessor, “STOCKHOLM 1988,” it was digitized from the first-generation master held by the renowned collector “GManOF,” but the sound is richer than the previous two. Of course, a boomy or muffled sound would be meaningless, but this album is not like that. The powerful, thick core is superb, cutting through the sound and delivering even the finest details to your ears. The deep bass, which is often a weakness in audience recordings, is clearly defined, and Cliff Williams’ bass lines and Malcolm Young’s riffs are truly vivid. While the live performance itself is similar to the previous two albums, the individuality of the sound makes it sound completely different. The crystal-clear transparency of “MALMO 1988,” the vibrant, on-core sound of “STOCKHOLM 1988,” and the rich dynamism of this album. Each of the three sisters possesses their own distinct personality, yet all three are exceptional masterpieces within the “BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO Tour” collection. This is the concluding volume of the three-part series featuring the stunningly beautiful sisters, where you can enjoy a full show including the rare track “Nick of Time,” which is unlikely to be found on any official release.
