With the release of “Marching Out” in 1985, he came to Japan for the first time as a solo artist in January. From the subsequent full-fledged world tour that began in May, Rising Force’s first full-fledged world tour, both performances of the North American tour were recorded as master quality audience recordings. First of all, the first half is almost a complete recording of the Dayton performance in Ohio, which was the full stage of the main act on July 3rd. Written by the earliest members such as Jeff Scott Sort and the Johansson brothers, it mainly uses the same album numbers, but also includes songs from the Alcatraz era such as “Kree Nakoorie” and “Hiroshima Mon Amour” here and there. Among them, “As Above, So Below” with an impressive bass line, “On The Run Again” with a Sabbath number as an intro, “Little Savage” with high-speed picking, and “Disciples Of Hell” which also features keyboards. This is a condensed collection of plays and arrangements unique to this period. The second half includes the performance in Nashville, Tennessee on November 15th. Since this tour is the opening act for the support act, the performance time is short, but the representative tunes from the same album and first album are performed evenly, and it is a quiet yet powerful performance that will become a standard at the live performances that follow. You can listen to early live versions of Ingy’s signature work, including the supreme melody number “BLASK STAR” and its counterpart, “FAR BEYOND THE SUN”, which hits you with a moving emotion. I’m so happy. Also, be sure to check out “Soldier Without Faith”, which was rarely played after the drum solo.
