Description

In 1975, the Tennessee performance on July 6th was recorded for 2 hours and 8 minutes with the highest level of high-quality audience recording from the “Relayer” North American tour that was held again the previous year. The sound quality is average until about the 3rd minute of Sound Chaser, but around 3:30 in the middle of the guitar solo, the microphone seems to be able to capture the musical sound firmly, and the sound quality has changed to the highest quality, which can be said to be exceptional for this era. Masu. The sound quality and sound image from this point on are very stable, and it is hard to believe that this is the first appearance sound source, and it can be said to be a splendid take that ranks high among audience recordings of this era. Close To The Edge has a slightly unclear sound at the beginning, but it becomes clear as soon as it starts. Howe’s guitar solo before the song starts is amazing. To Be Over, captured with a delicious tone, is also exquisite. Gates Of Delirium, where you can enjoy a tasteful performance, has a good sound and you can enjoy a performance full of ups and downs. The synth played by Moratsu sounds better than in a normal recording, so you can hear the entire keyboard orchestration effect with clear sound. In the beginning part of Soon (17:05), there is a large noise due to technical trouble, which is rare in this part, but the band continues to perform impressively without any problems. The acoustic part in the first half of Disc 2, Moratsu’s piano solo, is recorded with a clear sound with enough sound pressure that almost no hiss is felt, and you can enjoy the sound image on par with a line recording. There is a tape change cut after the Clap performance, and it is a pity that And You And I has not been recorded, but the following 26 minutes of Ritual is a masterpiece and worth listening to. Following Roundabout, in the intro of Sweet Dreams at the end of the encore, the Presley cover Don’t Be Cruel, which was played specially because it was a Memphis performance, is very valuable! Moreover, the sound quality is recorded very clearly, making it a great listen. Don’t Be Cruel, a 1 minute and 30 second Jesus-style arrangement, fits perfectly as an intro to Sweet Dreams, and is of such quality that it could be played continuously at other performance locations. The sound quality of these two precious songs is especially excellent among the whole, and fans are very happy. In particular, Howe’s vivid play on Sweet Dreams and Moratsu’s Mellotron and Moog synth long solo at the end are must-listens. This is a highly recommended piece that fans must listen to and have.
