Description

This phantom TV program, “TAKE ONE PLUS ONE” produced in London in 1971, has been unearthed in recent years as a precious early live performance just after Steve Howe joined the band, and has become a hot topic. This is a 30-minute music program whose broadcast date is unknown, and in recent years the master footage with a time counter was leaked, and this title was made into a DVD. Incidentally, not only Yes, but also Stephen Stills, who had just released a solo album at the time, appears on the program. In any case, the high quality and rarity of the footage have been a big hit with fans of both groups, and the main Yes members are the members who were in the band when Tony Kaye was still in the band when “Third Album” was released, and they performed four songs from the album in a studio live performance. Although the processed footage with surreal collages is a bit strange, perhaps due to the era, the footage includes the performance of “All Good People” in the studio, “Perpetual Change” shortened to about 2 minutes, and “Yours Is No Disgrace” played almost in full length, and everything is included. Incidentally, Stills performs “4+20” from “Deja Vu” and “Black Queen” from his solo debut. In the past, the black and white footage has been released online, but this time it’s a full color version, so although it’s short, it’s still worth checking out at a total of 25 minutes.
