Description
On November 8th, 1977, from the UK tour accompanying “Ultimate”, a DVD of the Glasgow Apollo performance in Scotland was released with surprisingly stable high-quality shots. It seems that the master was a tripod video taken from the second floor, and not only the whole view of the stage but also close-up scenes of each member are effectively featured. The beautiful screen is of breathtaking quality, the focus is solid, and even the close-up screen is recorded without blurring, so you can enjoy the stage of Yes in this rare period with a very vivid feel. Steve’s appearance of overwhelming the audience with his energetic actions and fast playing is full of power, including his outstanding play. Every song is full of things to listen to and see, and it is a piece that allows you to reaffirm the greatness of Yes’ performance in the late 1970s. This time, as a nice bonus track, it comes with Going For The One (live and image footage) that was broadcast on TV at the time, and precious footage of the London Wembley Arena performance on October 27, 1977 captured on black and white film. It is probably a 24-minute 8mm film, but the close-ups of the members are also impressive, making it a first-class record of the time. The title of the video, which is truly “ultimate,” totals 2 hours and 2 minutes, and is from the painting. It is a professional version with a menu chapter and a recording time of 122 minutes.
