Description

The audience collection of “YES Featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman (hereinafter “YES ft. ARW”)” is arriving one after another. The release of the finest recording has been decided. This work contains the performance of “April 21, 2017: Amashi Archaic Hall”. The Amagasaki performance was reported in “LIVE IN AMAGASAKI 2017” the other day, and will be introduced in “AMAGASAKI 2017” this week. “The third one from the same live performance?” you may hear the voice, but this work is still a great recording that I can’t help but introduce. After all, the one who made this work is the famous “Western Japan’s Strongest Taper”. Among the famous recording artists who cooperate with our shop, he is a master of masters who reigns at the top of the class in terms of quality, quantity, and probability. Of course, Mr. “Strongest”‘s work can’t be bad, and the quality of this work is naturally superb. The “difference in direction” is the atmosphere. “AMAGASAKI 2017” was a sound that shone brightly with a harsh direct feeling, but this work is a type that produces “beauty” even though the core of the musical sound is intense. Jon Anderson’s beautiful voice pours down, and Rick Wakeman’s majestic “ringing” like a church touches the heart. While the two of them give you plenty of classical YES flavor, Trevor Rabin brings out the contours of the songs with a crisp sound…I have always said that “YES music suits audience recording,” and this sound takes that beauty to the extreme. In addition, this work can be enjoyed by comparing it with the brother works of the same recording artist’s collection. “LIVE IN NAGOYA 2017,” which will be released at the same time this week, is also a work by “Saikyou,” and you can collect Osaka and Nagoya with the same recording artist. Furthermore, “LIVE IN OSAKA 2016” by the original YES, who came to Japan in November last year, was also “Saikyou.” Although it was not possible to hold the same concert hall as the Orchard Hall in Tokyo, the two YES’s could be observed at fixed points by the same recording artist and the same equipment. Rather, this work is superior in terms of the unique flavor of the guest recording. This is an excellent piece for those who are obsessed with the beauty of the audience sound.
