Description
The true identity of this work is the original UK version of “Kisai”. It was also directly digitized from “Matrix 1”, which is the origin of origins. As I have introduced before, this work also carefully treats the (minor) needle patter at the beginning, making it a piece where you can experience “Crisis” with the highest sound ever. For those who have been particular about sound quality, no further explanation is necessary, so let’s continue the story for those who are not. “Matrix” is a number engraved on the mold for pressing LPs. I won’t go into details, but the younger the number, the earlier it is. Among them, the home version “Mato 1” is special (“A1” and “B1″ in the title of this work refer to Mato 1 for side A and B). Literally, it is the first mold to be manufactured, but normally when “Mato 1” is manufactured, it is carefully checked by the artists themselves, producers, engineers, and other staff involved in record production. After that, the molds have to be remade as many times as the album sells, but there are no checks at that time. In other words, “Mato 1” is the sound that those involved in the studio, who have listened to the master tape until they got tired of, have stamped their approval as “this is the real thing.” For example, KING CRIMSON’s “Crimson King’s Palace” box included a digitalized disc from the U.K. original first edition, and it is such a special edition. And this work is the “crisis” version. That sound…is indescribable. It’s truly a miraculous sound. Not only the three-dimensional effect created by each musical note, but also the sense of depth that resides in each note is tremendous, and how natural it is from the beginning to the moment it disappears. Speaking of the beauty of the sound of metal objects such as cymbals… What’s more, it’s not just high-quality sound; it also has a sense of authenticity. The digitally remastered version that has been released many times also uses equalization to create a three-dimensional effect, but it is clearly different from that. The density of the analog connection is wonderful, and the sense of reality allows you to feel a mass that does not originally exist in sound. It is not a “reproduction of the real thing”, but “this is the real thing”. Indeed, “Crisis” flows out with the sound closest to the sound sucked into the master tape. “Crisis” is the culmination of history. It is a miracle of music history that will surpass even the existence of the band “YES”. Listen to such rare works with “real sound”. No matter how long rock history is and how wide the world is, how many musical experiences can there be that are better than this? A piece that will give you such a luxurious moment.
