Description

From the solo tour that was organized mainly in North America from the end of May to August 1976, on July 20th in the middle of the tour, the Cow Palace performance in San Francisco was completely recorded with a high-quality audience recording. The theme of And You And I is played in the intro and leads directly to Siberian Khatru, a live arrangement unique to this period that is a must-listen from the beginning. The power of the two consecutive speed tunes that symbolize this tour, followed by the opening song Siberian Khatru and Sound Chaser, is overwhelming. It can be said to be a set for the US tour that overwhelms the audience with its power. At the beginning, you get the impression that the sound quality is a little muffled, but as the song progresses, the sound quality gradually improves, and around Sound Chaser and I’ve Seen All Good People, the sound image becomes fixed, and after that it remains stable until the end. Recorded in high quality sound. The peak of the first half of the show is the 22-minute Gates Of Delirium played in the fourth song, and like Ritual in the second half, you can enjoy a spectacular performance that can be said to be the pinnacle of Yes in the Moratsu era. The solo time of each member following Long Distance Runaround is the highlight of this tour. Roundabout was an incomplete recording of the worse-sounding sound source that existed among traders in the past, but you can listen to this take until the end. I’m Down, a Jesus-style rock’n’roll song played as an encore, is a highlight of this tour, and you can also enjoy Howe and Moratsu’s R&R-style play. The last 12 minutes of Starship Trooper are also included, including the ending. Although the sound quality is average, the sound image is always stable, and it is a high-quality title that is well worth adding to the collection of avid fans. Live at Cow Palace, Daly City, CA.
