The second half of the “In the Round” US tour accompanying the release of “Tohmato” in 1978, the live performance at the LA Forum in Inglewood, the Hall of Fame of Rock and Roll, was held on October 5th and 6th, and this title is a coupling recording of the audience sound source and the existing soundboard source. First, the performance on the 5th, the first day, was recorded in complete from a high-quality audience master that could be called A-rank at the time. The sound balance, scale, and separation are excellent, John’s vocals are clear from start to finish, and the opening Siberian Khatru and Howe’s energetic play are overwhelmingly powerful. The synth exchange part in the middle of the following Heart Of The Sunrise is also amazing, and the subsequent “Tohmato” numbers such as Future Times/Rejoice and Circus Of Heaven, which stand out, are also worth listening to. After the anniversary medley that makes you feel the drama one after the other, they play the single Don’t Kill The Whale, which was played at the time, and Madrigal is played as the prologue to Clap, but these two songs were set in at the end of the tour. After the big song Starship Trooper, Madrigal is played again, and then it continues with On The Silent Wings Of Freedom, which is an arrangement unique to this time of the tour. Furthermore, the last encore, Roundabout, is a speedy and energetic performance at the peak of their power. In addition, disc:3 includes the performance on the 6th, which was once known as an analog bootleg, recorded on the soundboard from the FM air check master at the time.
