Description
On March 18th, during the second half of the North American tour accompanying “Story of Marine Geomorphology” in 1974, Los Angeles recorded the Inglewood Forum performance with a superb audience recording. A must-have disc for fans that uses a version called Mike Millard’s Master Direct that has appeared in recent years. A legendary night in California revived with natural, spacious, high-quality sound that avoids any equalization. A miraculous tone that overflows from the antique-like sound full of vintage mood, which is completely different from the previous Boston performance take (“ALTERNATE VIEW”). It is recorded with a truly miraculous sound, including the hiss, where if you change anything, the essence of the sound will be lost. The lively colors of the sound are wonderful, and it can be said that this is a miraculous piece that allows you to feel the spiritual nobility that was unique to Jesus at this time, and can be said to have been able to express it only with this sound. In fact, I don’t think there is a Yes fan in this world who doesn’t cry when they listen to Total Mass Retain on this day. It’s so amazing that you’ll be stunned after the performance of “Kirishi”. Both Howe’s guitar and Rick’s keyboard are filled with an overwhelming charm that could never be experienced in Yes before, let alone after, and the persuasiveness of this sound cannot be compared to the CTTE tour of the previous year. This is a piece that clearly shows that 1974 was Jesus’ peak. Included are the familiar sound effects of “Phoenix”, three songs from “Kisai”, and three songs from “Ocean Topography” (Remembering was dropped during the US tour). The tape master includes Showend’s Roundabout and Starship Trooper. Although it has not yet been released, the unprecedented 107 minutes that allows you to experience the supreme sonic universe that only Jesus could reach in the 1970s is a must-listen for all fans.
