Disc 1 is an official stereo line recording of a live performance at the Record Plant in Sausalito, California on November 8, 1974, one year after the band was formed. Disc 2 is a live performance at Winterland in their hometown of San Francisco on November 19, just after that. This is a mono line recording, and the condition of the tape is not as good as the Record Plant, so the sound balance is strange at first and the guitar is far away, but it gradually improves. Both performances mainly feature songs from the two albums released later under the name “Yesterday And Today”.
