The historic masterpiece “Fishing For More Luckies” was re-released in 1996, and as part of the 20th anniversary tour, the band performed in Tokyo on January 31st. This is a complete recording from the audience master, remastered with 24-bit digital recording. This is their first solo performance in Japan in about a year, and although the album was released as a special edition, lacking in unity, it was hard and punkish, melodic and pop, and was therefore rich in variety, allowing the band to fully demonstrate their diverse musicality on stage. The album includes the smash hit single “Sick Of Drugs”, the classic “29x The Pain”, the riff, riff, riff epic “Sky Babies”, and the live staple “Caffein Bomb”, all of which are must-listen songs, and you’ll be able to listen to as many songs from The Wildhearts’ golden age as you like. Furthermore, this is a masterpiece on a par with their first album “Earth vs The Wildhearts” and their second album “P.H.U.Q.”. Not only is the live performance fulfilling enough to be called almost a compilation of their best works, but the encore was even more fulfilling than their UK performance, and the full live performance lasted a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes, including a killer tune during the encore, and is presented here with perfect quality.
