Description
In 1989, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band’s formation, the band led a large band of 15 people, including support members, on the theme of “TOMMY” re-performance, and recorded the performance at Rich Stadium in Buffalo, New York on July 18th in a super high-quality audience recording. This is the first performance by JEMS, who released the 1979 New York & New Jersey performance sound source and delighted WHO fans around the world. Just like the MSG performance sound source 10 years ago, the sound quality is just “perfect”. The clear, deep sound image that does not feel any muffled is wonderful, and it is a super quality title that will be a must-have for fans as the best record of the 1989 tour that delighted fans with the long-awaited revival. The separation of the sound is phenomenal, and you can hear not only Roger’s vocals, but also Pete’s strummed acoustic guitar and every note of John’s bass. Simon & John’s three-dimensional and modern rhythm construction is a masterpiece, and you can enjoy a very high quality performance with the best sound. There are many leaked videos of the 1989 North American tour, and audio-only titles tend to be overlooked, but this is definitely the definitive version of the 1989 tour. With a moderate sense of realism, it is a big sound picture scroll recorded with the highest sound quality that makes you think that there has never been a high-quality audience recording of Who sound source before. The sound that is stunned when listening pops out. It is an unprecedented title that should be listened to not only by Who collectors but also by recording enthusiasts.
