Description

“COME AN’ GET IT TOUR” is the mature version of early WHITESNAKE, which embodied the essence of British blues rock. A masterpiece live album that has been loved by core enthusiasts as its only soundboard recording has been decided to be released. This work contains the “April 20, 1981 Zurich performance”. Early WHITESNAKE, which had the golden twins Mickey Moody and Bernie Marsden, evolved with each album and tour. The pinnacle of this was “COME AN’ GET IT TOUR”. First of all, let’s check the position of the show from the overall picture of such a tour. “COME AN’ GET IT” released on April 11th. April 14th – May 9th: Europe #1 (14 performances) ←★Here★ May 15th – June 9th: UK #1 (16 performances) June 22nd – 30th: Japan (8 performances) July 5th – 18th: North America #1 (9 performances) July 29th + August 15th: North America #2 (2 performances) August 22nd – 27th: UK #2 (3 performances) December 1st – 12th: Europe #2 (10 performances) This is the final tour outline of CLASSIC SNAKE. The Zurich performance of this work was held in the very early days when the masterpiece “COME AN’ GET IT” was running up the UK charts. It was the fourth concert. Such a show is a famous performance known from our masterpiece live album “HOT STUFF”, but it was actually recorded on a soundboard recording. In fact, vivid applause and cheers are also recorded, and at first listen, one might think, “super-excellent audience?”, but it is distributed worldwide as a soundboard. Although the details are not left, it may be a recording with a directional microphone that was sometimes used in radio broadcasts in the 1980s. And the quality is wonderful. It is easy to understand why enthusiasts around the world call it a “soundboard”, as the core jumps in with a kick and clarity, and the strength and closeness of the keyboard / guitar / vocals are particularly amazing. Unfortunately, there is no beginning of the show, only after “Mistreated”, and in “Fool For Your Love”, the audience noise is close by, so it is by no means perfect, but the basic quality is very high. There are masters on the Internet that are the same recording but with significantly out-of-pitched, but unlike that, this work has less noise and is accurate in pitch. This week, the soundboard that reaches the pinnacle of the “LOVEHUNTER TOUR” and “READY AN’ WILLING TOUR” after Ian Paice joined will be released on CD as “BOX ‘O’ SNAKES: THE TEST MASTER”, but this work is a live album that should be called the “COME AN’ GET IT” edition that follows. The quality is literally the pinnacle of CLASSIC SNAKE. There are many familiar songs because there is no first half of the show, but the last one that shines is “Wine Woman An’ Song”. Of course, it is a boogie masterpiece that will be the representative song of “COME AN’ GET IT”, but this work is the only one that records the soundboard with the golden lineup that also includes Bernie. It is an immeasurable super treasure take for maniacs who are particular about the early white snake. Of course, the value of this work is not just one song. The excitement of the second half of the show, recorded for more than an hour, is the pinnacle of mature British blues rock. The most impressive song is the 14-minute long “Mistreated.” The great performance of Reading 80 is stuck in my mind, but this work is even deeper and more intense with blues. It is a live album that will overwhelm you with the rich world that can only be called “the pole of CLASSIC SNAKE.” Early WHITESNAKE… No, “COME AN’ GET IT TOUR” was even the pinnacle of British blues rock. This work is a superb live album that has driven core enthusiasts crazy as its unique sound board. Speaking of the tour apex, it would be the full show trilogy of Japanese performances “ASAKUSA ROCK!”, “DRAGONSNAKE” and “NAGOYA 1981”, but this work is the fruition of the enthusiast’s dream of “I want to listen to it on the sound board of the supreme COME AN’ GET IT TOUR”.
