Here is a rare live recording of the super trio West Blues & Laing, known as Mountain + Cream, right after their formation. A complete recording of the performance at Boston’s Aquarius Theater on November 10th from the 1972 US tour with a fairly high-quality audience recording for that time. As a short-lived group, they performed a medley of “Mississippi Queen” and “The Politician,” and the combined sound of these two members was still powerful, and they gave a thrilling performance comparable to both bands.
