Description

Another superb masterpiece from the collection of Stephane, an absolute master of the 90s! Two shocking masters that allow you to fully experience the golden age of VIXEN will be released at the same time! This work is the second part of the two consecutive releases. It is a superb audience recording of the “September 12, 1990 London performance”. Speaking of VIXEN in 1990, our shop has received great reviews for “MANCHESTER 1990” and “NOTTINGHAM 1990”, and this week “NEWCASTLE 1990 (Shades 1941)” will also be released at the same time. In fact, these four works are four sisters born from the same recording artist collection. When were these four sisters recorded? As usual, let’s start by looking at the overview of their activities at that time. 1990 {Rev It Up released in July} August 11th + 25th: North America #1 (2 shows) August 30th + September 1st: Europe #1 (2 shows) September 5th-12th: UK (7 shows) ←★here★ September 19th-December 5th: North America #2 (48 shows) 1991 January 16th-24th: North America #3 (8 shows) February 8th-March 21st: Europe #2 (30 shows) ←※REV IT UP IN GERMANY May 11th + June 6th: North America #4 (2 shows) {Inactive} This is VIXEN in 1990/1991. The four sisters’ work by the master “Stephane” was recorded in the “UK” leg. However, the London performance of this work has a slightly different meaning from the other three sisters. To explain what that means, let’s focus on the dates and check their relative positions. Details of “UK” September 5th + 6th (2 performances) * September 7th “MANCHESTER 1990” * September 9th “NEWCASTLE 1990” * September 11th “NOTTINGHAM 1990” September 10th: Edinburgh performance * September 12th: London performance ←★ This work ★ … and so on. The other three sisters “MANCHESTER 1990”, “NEWCASTLE 1990” and “NOTTINGHAM 1990” were completely consecutive performances, but only the London performance of this work was a little away on the final day. It is the youngest daughter album of the four sisters. And the sound of such a show vacuum packed is amazing. It’s amazing! Anyone who has experienced the older sisters’ works will have realized how exquisite they are, and especially “NEWCASTLE 1990” and “NOTTINGHAM 1990” were so amazing that they even fit the superlative description “as if they were official”. This work is a superb sound that brings together the best of such older sister recordings. Both sisters are beautiful enough to not give in to each other, but at the same time, they are rich in individuality. In short, it feels like “NOTTINGHAM with clarity, NEWCASTLE with dynamism”. And this work has both. Clearness, sharpness, thickness, separation, and of course a zero-distance direct feeling. It has everything. Such a delicious sound is depicted in the full show, which is the best gig of the four sisters’ works. Let’s start by checking the set. Vixen (5 songs), Cruisin’, Cryin’, Hell Raisers, I Want You To Rock Me (★), Edge Of A Broken Heart, Rev It Up (8 songs), Streets In Paradise, Rev It Up, Not A Minute Too Soon, Hard 16, Love Is A Killer, Bad Reputation, How Much Love, Wrecking Ball *Note: ★ marks are songs that were not heard in the simultaneously released “NEWCASTLE 1990”. There is one more song than “NEWCASTLE 1990”, which is the same as “MANCHESTER 1990” and “NOTTINGHAM 1990”. So why is this the best gig? The performance is intense. The other three sisters also performed in their prime, but this work is even more intense as it is the final day. The momentum of not worrying about tomorrow’s condition is tremendous, and the confidence of having successfully completed a foreign tour is also brimming. It’s a masterpiece where everything fits together. Stephane is an absolute master who recorded HR/HM in the early 90s with a different dimension of sound. Even in that collection, VIXEN’s four sisters are exceptional. This is the youngest daughter of the four sisters, and a compilation of a blazing performance. A superb audience recording of the “September 12, 1990 London performance”. In the collection of Stephane, this masterpiece is one of the four sisters, along with the masterpieces “MANCHESTER 1990”, “NEWCASTLE 1990”, and “NOTTINGHAM 1990”. With a sound that combines the clarity of “NOTTINGHAM 1990”, which was called the official grade, and the dynamism of “NEWCASTLE 1990”, you can experience a full show that is only possible on the final day of the UK tour. This is a new masterpiece that will serve as the official substitute for VIXEN in its prime. Town and Country, London, UK 12th September 1990 TRULY PERFECT / ULTIMATE SOUND 1. Intro 2.
