Description

“LIVE AID” is the largest music event in human history. The ultimate soundboard album is now available in a 3-piece series! I can almost hear the voice saying “LIVE AID again?”, but this time I can only say “ultimate”. After all, it is a complete recording of the British BBC broadcast that broadcast almost all the songs played at that huge event. You can experience the performance that could not be heard even on the official DVD, which has been significantly deleted, or on the Japanese broadcasting, which is full of cuts, on the finest stereo soundboard without leaking to the maximum. This is the first 15-disc set in history! [The third installment of the final series with consecutive highlights] This is the BBC broadcast version, which has excellent volume and quality, but 15 CDs cannot be combined into one set. Therefore, it will be released in 5 discs x 3 titles. This work is the third installment. Approximately 12 hours have passed between Part 1 and Part 2, and the event of the century is finally reaching its climax. In this work, “Wembley Stadium” suddenly becomes the highlight at the beginning, and after that, “JFK Stadium” is also held as the highlight continues towards the end, where the biggest names continue to perform passionately. In order to understand the mood, let’s take a look at the artists who appear in this work. ★5:27/Madonna (all 3 songs) ○5:48/Freddie Mercury & Brian May (all 1 song) ○5:51/Paul McCartney (all 1 song) ○5:57/BAND AID (all 1 song) ★6:02/Tom Petty (4 songs in total) *Not broadcast in Japan ★6:30/Kenny Loggins (1 song in total) ★6:39/THE CARS (4 songs in total) *Not broadcast in Japan ← [DISC 2 from here] ★7:06/Neil Young (5 songs in total) ★7:42/THE POWER STATION (2 songs in total) ★8:21/THOMPSON TWINS (2 songs in total) ← [DISC 3 from here ]★8:38/Eric Clapton (3 songs in total)★9:00/Phil Collins (2 songs in total)★9:10/LED ZEPPELIN (3 songs in total)★9:39/CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG (2 songs in total) ← [DISC 4 from here] ★9:46/DURAN DURAN (4 songs in total) ★10:20/Patti LaBelle (6 songs in total)★10:50/Hall & Oates (6 songs in total) ) ← [DISC 5 from here] ★11:15/Mick Jagger (5 songs in total) ★11:39/Bob Dylan with Keith Richards & Ronnie Wood (3 songs in total)★11:55/USA FOR AFRICA (1 song in total) – Note: “○” is Wembley Stadium in the UK, “★” is JFK Stadium in the US. The numbers are the start times converted to Japan time. …and it looks like this. A total of 20 artists appeared all at once without any broadcast. Tom Petty and THE CARS, which were not broadcast in Japan, are also delicious, and the official DVD includes the entire cuts of THE POWER STATION, LED ZEPPELIN, CROSBY, STILLS, NASH & YOUNG. There was reception noise and tape distortion in some parts, so the sound quality was not the best, but you can seamlessly enjoy the intro of “Stairway to Heaven”, which was hammered into the depths of despair on Japanese Broadcasting. Of course, it’s not just valuable. From the beginning, we are introduced to Madonna, who has just become a darling of the times with “LIKE A VIRGIN,” Freddie & Brian of QUEEN, and Paul McCartney. You can fully enjoy the historic incident where Freddie & Brian’s staff accidentally pulled out the microphone and Paul’s singing voice could not be heard at all on the sound board. The problem is solved in about two minutes, but during that time Paul’s voice singing desperately while he is off, and the loud applause at the moment it is solved are very realistic. On the official DVD, the singing voice was overdubbed at a later date, making it sound like the song is being sung normally, but that doesn’t explain the meaning of this great applause. This emotion is the real thrill of being broadcast live, and it’s because we received such emotion that the finale of BAND AID’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas,” which is a British highlight, is even more touching. It’s a cathartic experience that comes from this work, which allows you to fully experience the great event of the century for a long time. Even though the UK is the highlight, this work is still Disc 1. On the following disc 2, Neil Young’s stage is the highlight. The last two songs “Powderfinger” and the unreleased song “Nothing Is Perfect” were not broadcast on Japanese Broadcasting, but they are solid here. Since it was in the middle of the country route, the large stage with the backing band THE INTERNATIONAL HARVESTERS at the time was perfect for the biggest event of the century. He will give you a performance that will actually touch your heart. And, on Disc 4 following Disc 3 of the reorganized LED ZEPPELIN, the reorganized CSN&Y also appears. They too will be forced to struggle. The reunion, which was decided at the last minute, attracted as much attention as ZEP, but the actual stage was a huge struggle. Although it is good to be able to listen to the cut “Only Love Can Break Your Heart” on Japanese broadcasting, the monitor return does not work at all. At the big stage “LIVE AID”, the acoustic players had a hard time with the monitors, but it seemed especially difficult at JFK Stadium at night. The last disc 5 is a series of highlights. When Mick Jagger appeared on stage after Hall & Oates, John Oates, Eddie Kendricks, and David Ruffin joined in the chorus, and even Tina Turner joined in for “State Of Shock” and “It’s Only Rock And Roll.” You can enjoy the super luxurious duet on the sound board. And the one who acts as a bird is Bob Dylan. In fact, this is also a place to listen to the incident, and the monitor is completely out of order even though it was played at JFK Stadium. It might have been better to use an electric acoustic guitar like CSN&Y, but the setting to pick up the acoustic guitar with a microphone completely backfired. Then we got Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood with acoustic guitars (they were also in the mode of picking up live sounds). The bad news is compounded, and in the final performance of “Blowin’ in the Wind,” Dylan’s guitar string breaks just as he gives Keith a solo. Things were going well until Ronnie used his wits and lent him his guitar, but unfortunately his acoustic guitar was tuned open for slide. Dylan, who can’t hear himself very well, doesn’t notice this and plays it without any hesitation. Finally, Ronnie receives Dylan’s guitar from the staff and plays while holding his head as he sees that the strings are still broken. What was supposed to be an emotional finale turned out to be a disaster. After overcoming that incident, the biggest event in music history comes to a close with the century’s “We Are The World.” This work is a stereo soundboard album where you can enjoy the most delicious highlight time of such a miracle of Western music “LIVE AID” in its entirety. This work alone is a blockbuster, running for 6 hours, 17 minutes, and 31 seconds, but if you combine the three works in the series, it will be an unprecedented 18 hours, 7 minutes, and 26 seconds. It is a spectacular masterpiece unparalleled in the history of human music, and it is a historical album that is extremely rich in every moment. The first complete album of “LIVE AID” in history. This is a major cultural heritage of popular music where you can obtain the miraculous “July 13, 1985” in its entirety.
