Description
The legendary album “THE GLOBAL JUKE BOX”, which has been passed down from generation to generation of LIVE AID’s FM broadcasts, is being reprinted at the same time. The release has been decided. “THE GLOBAL JUKE BOX” is a Japanese-made analog bootleg released at the time. This is a soundboard album that carefully selects popular bands/artists from among the 57 bands that performed at two venues in the UK and the US. This week, the analog version released as a total of 4 discs (2 discs x 2) has been precisely digitized. There are 7 groups and 17 songs included here. Let’s organize it in the same way as “VOL.1″. [Wembley Stadium (UK) version] DISC 1: THE WHO (3 songs) [JFK Stadium (US) version] DISC 1: Eric Clapton (1 song), LED ZEPPELIN (3 songs), BLACK SABBATH & Ozzy Osbourne ( 1 song) DISC 2: Mick Jagger & Tina Turner (5 songs), Bob Dylan & Keith Richards & Ron Wood (3 songs), U.S.A. FOR AFRICA (1 song)…And so it goes like this. Masu. “VOL.1” focused mostly on Wembley Stadium in England, but this one focuses on the United States. All but THE WHO are occupied by the JFK Stadium stage. In today’s sense, it would be organized in chronological order or by venue, but the structure has a sense of that time even if it is not. The British-focused “VOL.1” was a subtext of the current big hit “LIVE AID: WEMBLEY STADIUM 1985,” but this one is more of a subtext of the official DVD box. The official DVD contains more cut songs than “VOL.1”. To enumerate, all three songs performed by LED ZEPPELIN, a reunion that was never officially made official, are “Rock And Roll,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and “Stairway To Heaven,” as well as THE WHO’s “My Generation” (which cuts off in the middle). )”, Mick & Tina’s “Lonely At The Top”, Dylan & Keith & Ronnie’s “Ballad Of Hollis Brown” and “When The Ship Comes In”, and nearly half of this work is a performance that cannot be heard officially. The sound that depicts such a show also burns my heart. Although it is not official quality due to reception noise in some parts, such as the reunion LED ZEPPELIN, the quality recorded by the manufacturer at the time for release is excellent, and above all, the freshness of the master without going through trading is fresh. Moreover, because it is an LP that is carved with physical grooves, there is almost no deterioration over time, and because it is precisely digitized from a mint quality record, it is glossy. The vintage feeling that resided in the broadcast itself is accurately revived, and the sound leads to flashbacks of memories from 33 years ago. The sound of a storyteller engraved on a phantom LP. This is an FM soundboard album that reproduces such historical broadcasts using modern technology. This is a live album to fully enjoy the miracle of LIVE AID, and it is a sound witness that you should experience now.
