Description

What is engraved in this work is the “June 20, 1984: Nakano Sun Plaza” performance. It is the super best stereo sound board recording. As you can see from the date and venue, this is a separate concert from the DVD “LIVE IN JAPAN”. First, let’s check the positions of both works from the schedule at the time.・June 16: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall ・June 17: Nagoya City Public Hall ・June 19: Nakano Sun Plaza ・June 20: Nakano Sun Plaza ←★This work★ ・June 21: Shibuya Public Hall ←※ DVD・June 22nd: Shinjuku Welfare Pension Hall 6 performances in total. There were only 4 performances in Tokyo, but the DVD is from the 3rd performance in Shibuya. On the other hand, this work was Nakano’s second performance. This show has been known for its sound board sound source since ancient times, and has been loved by the masterpiece “ROLL THRU THE NIGHT”. This work is an expanded and complete version of such a legendary sound board. Of course, even though it is an expansion, it does not mean that there are multiple sound sources. It is a leaked master newly discovered in 2012, and it was also a big hit as the masterpiece “HEADING FOR THE NIGHT”. The quality is truly shocking. In terms of sound quality, it is “completely official grade”, but the rawness is even more than that. It is a so-called mix desk direct connection type and is completely unprocessed. Unlike the finely polished main press DVD, the loud cheers are far away and the balance is a mix for the on-site PA. The live music jumps out without hesitation, and it hits your brain with such vividness that it’s as if you’ve never heard of home audio. But that’s good. cool! If you are paying attention to this article, you probably know that the soundboard connected directly to the table does not have a production that reproduces the concert scene, and there is no polishing. There is no sense of realism, but the feeling of synchronization with the band itself is at its maximum. Everyone has different expectations for a live album, and the best record will vary depending on that. If you’re looking for a concert-themed musical piece, the official live version is the one to go for, and if you’re looking for a realistic sense of presence and re-experience, there’s nothing better than the finest audience recording. On the other hand, when you think of it as something for listening to live music, a sound board connected directly to the table is the best. And this work is the highest quality product. What is drawn with that sound is a full show that is a concentrated reduction of the famous albums “Myth of the Netherland” and “Flame of Temptation”. The content is very similar to the DVD, so I will avoid repeating it, but since this work is unedited, the opening BGM and song order are also the same as the original. Starting with “Ready For You”, the masterpieces that become the treasures of classical HR are played out one after another. When I’m enjoying that dramaticism, I suddenly think of MSG’s “Flying Legend” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Tribute.” Like Adrian, Michael Schenker and Randy Rhoads were Gibson users who loved Leslie West, and they were heroes who pioneered the classic HR in the early 1980s. All three of them have left behind a full live album that is a condensation of their two studio albums. There is no doubt that this work itself is a super masterpiece of VANDENBERG, but if you look at it from a different perspective, it is a definitive live album that can be called “Adrian’s flying legend and tribute.” A super masterpiece of a stereo sound board that transcends the distinction between official and unofficial.
