Vandenberg’s popularity was sparked in Europe and Japan, mainly in their home country of the Netherlands, and their first performance in Japan in 1984 was a great success. This title combines rare live audio and video from the 1980s, the precious heyday of Vandenberg. The first audio is a live performance in their hometown of the Netherlands on July 24, 1984, after the release of their second album “Heading for a Storm”, recorded on a soundboard from the broadcast master. Since it was recorded one month after their first performance in Japan, it can be said to be a short version of the set, and it features seven songs from the 1st and 2nd albums. Adrian’s dramatic and technical guitar playing, Bert Heerinck’s emotional vocals, and Dick & Jo’s playing, which gives a tight rhythm, are all youthful and fresh. Next is a live performance in the Netherlands in December 1982, after the release of their first album, also recorded on a soundboard. With the hit single “Burning Heart” from their debut album “VANDENBERG,” they performed with great energy. In addition, the 1978 live performance of Teaser, the band that Adrian was a member of and which became Vandenberg, is also available on radio and as a soundboard recording.
