Description
The soundboard collection of the “WAR” era, where the impact of the masterpieces “HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982” and “TIFFANY’S 1983” has not yet faded. The latest work, an even longer/higher quality masterpiece, is now available. This work is engraved with the “May 6, 1983 Boston performance”. It is a superb stereo soundboard recording. Some of you may already know the pin, but this work is a classic soundboard that symbolizes the “WAR Tour”. It is the highest peak master. Before the contents of the show, let’s first check the position of the show. If you have noticed this article, you will have experienced the two works mentioned above, so let’s check the positional relationship of each in the tour schedule. 1982 (September-October ‘WAR’ production) ・December 1-24: Europe #1 (20 performances) ←※HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982 1983 (February 28 ‘WAR’ released) ・February 26-April 3: Europe #2 (29 performances) ←※TIFFANY’S 1983 ・April 23-June 29: North America (48 performances) ←★Here★ ・July 2-August 21: Europe #3 (5 performances) ・November 16-30: Hawaii/Japan (7 performances) This is U2 in the ‘WAR’ era. The recently released and very well-received ‘HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982’ and ‘TIFFANY’S 1983’ were recorded on European tours around the time of the album’s release, whereas the Boston performance of this work is a US tour. It was the 11th concert of the ‘North American’ leg. This show is also known for being professionally recorded, and “11 O’Clock Tick Tock” is also used in the official traditional album “UNDER A BLOOD RED SKY”. It was also broadcast on the famous program “Super Groups In Concert”, and is a classic that has produced many previously released groups. This work is also a classic sound board, but it is not a copy or remastered reissue of a previously released group. It was made into a CD directly from the highest peak master carefully selected by an overseas U2 researcher. And that researcher is the maniac who supervised “HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982” and “TIFFANY’S 1983”, which are currently very popular. It is a famous master backed by deep sound source knowledge and a solid selection eye. In fact, the sound is the best ever. It has been “completely official class” from the past, but this work is even more vivid and three-dimensional, and the details can be heard more finely. Furthermore, the sense of stability is tremendous. No, there were already plenty of stable masters in the past, but listening to this work makes you realize that “it was actually fluctuating.” It’s a sinful quality that makes you feel dissatisfied with things you were satisfied with. If we were to compare this feeling of upgrading to an official one, it would be like a remastered CD. It’s also a type like the high-quality labels “Mobile Fidelity” and “Nimbus Supercut.” Rather than making it flashy with a lot of sound pressure, the sound recorded on the master itself is transferred to the maximum extent to create a three-dimensional effect and vividness. It’s not like it’s transformed into something completely different, but it’s an upgrade that will make you surprised that “There was even such a sound!” That sound alone is enough to fill you up, but the greatest thing about this work is the full show recording. “HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982” and “TIFFANY’S 1983” were just single discs that were excerpts of the show, but this work is a two-disc set that lasts about 82 minutes. The number of songs and the volume are completely different. Let’s organize the sets while comparing them here. Boy (7 songs + α) Out of Control (*) / Twilight (*★) / An Cat Dubh (*) / Into the Heart (*) / The Cry-The Electric Co. / A Day Without Me / I Will Follow (*) WAR (6 songs) Surrender (*) / Two Hearts Beat As One (*) / Seconds (*) / Sunday Bloody Sunday / New Year’s Day / “40” (*★) Others (6 songs) Irish October: I Fall Down / October / I Threw A Brick Through A Window / Gloria Single: Party Girl (*) / 11 O’clock Tick Tock (*) *Note: * indicates songs that were not heard on “HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982” and ★ indicates songs that were not heard on “TIFFANY’S 1983”. …And so on. “Twilight” and “40” are repertoires that cannot be heard even if the two works are combined. Furthermore, “I Fall Down” was missing from the official DVD “U2 LIVE AT RED ROCKS”, which is a symbol of the “WAR Tour”. I think you will understand the listening response and awesomeness of the complete full show recording. The Boston sound board that is the best masterpiece of the “WAR Tour” in terms of both the number of songs and sound. It is a super-excellent master that updates the highest peak. Super-excellent stereo sound board recording of “May 6, 1983 Boston performance”. It is the highest peak of the classic FM sound board, and is a famous master selected by overseas U2 researchers. Although it has been “completely official class” since the past, this work is even more vivid and three-dimensional, and the details can be heard more finely. It is a masterpiece sound board album with a complete full show, including “I Fall Down”, which was also missing from the official DVD “U2 LIVE AT RED ROCKS”.
