Description
This 2CD set contains a complete recording of the live performance at Rosemont Horizon on April 29th, from the North American tour after the release of Joshua Tree in 1987, in master quality and soundboard audio. The tour, which was the first to top the UK and US charts, began with “Where the Streets Have No Name,” featuring a John Lennon song as the opening SE. Of course, the set was centered around album numbers, but also included their past hits, and included their respect numbers throughout. Incidentally, on this day, Bob Marley’s “Exodus” and “Three Little Birds,” Van Morrison’s “Gloria,” the Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday” and “Sympathy For the Devil,” and even Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” appeared. Furthermore, any issues with the master that had been in circulation up until now have been restored as much as possible, and the latest digital remastering has been applied, making this the definitive recording of the day. Unlike the documentary “Rattle & Hum,” which was made into a film, this is a complete recording of one concert, making it a must-have for fans. Disc 1 : 01. Where The Streets Have No Name 02.
