Description
From the second leg of the 1989 “Lovetown World Tour”, the legendary four-day consecutive performance in Dublin at the end of the year, this title is a 2-CD title that contains the second day, December 27th, complete recording in master quality and soundboard sound source. First of all, this world tour was held on a global scale including Japan, and as a highlight of the end of the year, the band performed four days on December 26th, 27th, 30th, and New Year’s Eve 31st at The Point Depot, a club with a capacity of 5,000 people in Dublin. All of the performances were aired on local FM, and the New Year’s Live on the 31st in particular is a standard recording that was also released half-officially. This title is the second day, and this day started with the standard opening song of this tour, “Where The Streets Have No Name”. The set that followed featured a variety of highlights, including Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower” featuring “Like A Hurricane” and a full rendition of Curtis Mayfield’s “People Get Ready” with Maria McKee. The set also featured the usual B.B. King participation in “When Love Comes To Town” and “Love Rescue Me,” as well as “The Unforgettable Fire” and “Two Hearts Beat As One,” which was the rarest of the four days.
